Location

Civil Parish BRANCASTER, WEST NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

September 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The site is visible as a pair of fragmentary, parallel running linear features, aligned in an approximate northwest to southeast direction and recorded for a length of 350m (S1). The features are 15m apart. These may be the ditches down the sides of a road or track, and the proximity to Brancaster vicus might suggest a Roman period date, although they could be considerably later.
M. Brennand (NMP), 5 September 2002.
