Summary

This terrace of brick houses is built around two earlier timber framed houses plus a brick building (No. 28) of around 1800. No.30 and 32 formed one timber framed house, whilst No. 34 is part of another timber frame building. These timber frame buildings may date to the 16th century and were heavily altered and had brick facades added around 1800. There are reused medieval stone carvings in a later outshut extension and an important 19th century fireplace with Freemasonry symbols in No. 34.
