Full Description
24 October 2003. Stray Find.
Found while making new drive feature.
Many Roman sherds, bones, shells and some Roman tile.
Two prehistoric flint flakes.
Post medieval sherd.
Undated lava quern fragment.

Pre 2021. Casual Observation.
In 2021 finds from the garden of this property were shown to archaeologists undertaking an excavation on the opposite site of Back Lane (NHER 65231). The report on this work (S1) notes that these included numerous fragments of box flue tile. The occupier also described a "...possible Roman wall he had encountered during gardening works".
