Full Description
Almost unique form, the only other example being Arkley, Greater London. (S1) dates it to the 1960s in text but to around 1970 on a photograph. The author describes the form as inspired by a snowflake, but it also resembles an Indian elephant column.
E. Rose (NLA), 7 February 2004.
