Summary
This water tower dates to 1980. It is a unique design with a tall cylindrical shaft on a base only 8m high because planning permission stipulated that there had to be a base. A separate access shaft stand next to it.

Unique design. Built 1980. Tall cylindrical shaft, on base only 8m (26ft) high because planning permission stipulated there must be a base; separate access shaft. (S1) believes this must be preserved.
