Alleged moated site.
Information taken (S1).

Visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photograph 73.244.261.
E. Rose (NAU).
Water filled south arm, a depression running north beside an adjacent hedge; a dark soil mark parallel and opposite to that; and to the north a pit, now used for refuse, that may be part of the earthwork.

1997. Casually found within area of moated enclosure.
Various medieval unglazed sherds uncertainly from this site.
Twenty four sherds of glazed Grimston ware including a twisted rod handle fragment, medium width strap handle fragments and several body sherds with slip trail decoration.
One worked flint flake ?undatable prehistoric.
