Summary

This is the site of a Roman villa, which was revealed during deep ploughing in the 1940s, when large scatters of tile, brick and pottery were revealed, as well as Roman glass, tesserae and coins. Several pot boiler sites have also been discovered, which seem to be associated with the villa. The cropmarks of a rectangular enclosure are visible on aerial photographs.
