Dredgings between Roman town (NHER 9786) and river. Part of large scatter NHER 29994.
1965.
Roman sherds and metalwork, glass working debris, antler pick, Mesolithic flint.

Roman pottery, plaster and metalwork in situ in river bank.

Roman sherds found. These finds included a stamped mortarium sherd - see drawing (S1) and correspondence regarding stamp.
