Summary

A human skeleton, burnt material, many fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery, a cut antler and pieces of wattle-marked daub were found during building works in 1968.

Human skeleton from about 1.5m (5 feet) down from surface half under numbers 11 to 13.
Burnt area over large part of site at about 90cm (3 feet) down, mainly in number 13 near road. Much early medieval sherds and post medieval sherds and cut antler (medieval association).
Also wattle marked daub.
Human skeleton legs, lower torso and feet in NHER16, rest NHER 17.
About 1.5m (5 feet) from surface, lying east-to-west.

Burnt wattle and daub from 11 Bank Plain.
