Full Description
1973. Large hole dug for oil tank for Jarrolds printing works and shallow foundation trenches cutting modern disturbance.
Bulk of the material found was from spoil from the oil tank hole.
Medieval to post medieval (including Delft, stoneware, Staffs. combed ware, Weser slipware). Late Saxon pottery. [1]
1974.
Continuation of 1973 site. Medieval to late post medieval pottery, glass and clay pipe.
