Summary

Artefacts and features have been reported from this site since 1862. All the features date to the medieval period and include pits, a well, part of a wall and a cess pit. Artefacts recovered include Late Saxon pots and axe, a medieval jug and pieces of post medieval pottery.

Found at 'Garlands', presumable during or immediately after building work [1]:
1 post-medieval pottery vessel (Lead-glazed Earthenware). Possibly a 17th-century chamber pot. See drawing (S3).
Probably identified by W. Milligan (NCM) [2].
