Summary
In 1974 trenches were dug here during work to extend Jarvis' shop at the rear. These trenches yielded Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds.

1974. Extension to Jarvis' shop at the rear.
Shallow trenches at rear producing Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery.
Lift shaft visible inside building at rear producing some medieval sherds.
Finds held by NCM.
