Summary

Observations during machine excavation of foundations in 1974 and 1975 noted medieval and post medieval pottery fragments, but no features.

1974. Extensive machine-excavated foundations cut into natural sand and gravel.
The spoil was removed immediately by lorry and so little material was collected.
Medieval and (mainly) post medieval pottery (including Weser slipware).

1975.
Site continued, no finds.
