Summary
In 1974 a house on this site was demolished and one trial hole dug in the area of the front gardens, from which Late Saxon to post medieval pottery was recovered. Further Late Saxon to post medieval pottery sherds were recovered a year later.

1974. House demolished and one trial hole dug in the area of the front gardens of Nos 6 and 8.
Late Saxon to Post medieval pottery.
Within medieval precinct of Greyfriars site (NHER 373).
