Summary

Metal-detecting in 1992 recovered a Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount and a medieval strap-end, copper alloy vessel repair sheet and belt-plate.

Before February 1992. Metal-detecting.
Late Saxon box mount. Flange turns inwards. Terminal with rivet hole. See Photograph (S1) and Polaroid (S2). This find was reidentified as a Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount by D. Williams in 1997, see Monograph (S3).
Medieval strap-end with integral circular buckle; copper alloy vessel repair sheet, with clips; double-looped buckle with scalloped edges and two expanded lobed terminals and a belt-plate.
