SNF100659 (Correspondence) - Correspondence between D. Williams and S. Margeson regarding Late Saxon stirrup-strap mounts

Three letters from D. Williams to S. Margeson (NMS) regarding Late Saxon stirrup-strap mounts that Williams was researching and later published in 1997 (SNF57562). Accompanying the letters are photocopies of a series of sketches that Williams made of the Late Saxon stirrup-strap mounts that he researched during his visit to Norfolk. It is uncertain whether the sketches were made from the articles themselves or from polaroids held by Norfolk Museum Service (SNF51667).
