Summary

In 1975 and 1976 work took place to clear this area for housing, and a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were recovered. It was also recorded that there was very little evidence for medieval occupation on this site, and the area appears to have been within the marsh and remained unoccupied until the 17th century.
