Summary

An early 16th century two storey former house with a flint rubble ground floor and a timber framed first floor under a pantile roof. It was extended northwards in the late 16th century, altered in the 19th century and renovated in the 20th century.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former house, converted into workshop and house in the 20th century, empty at the time of re-survey. Early 16th century, extended northwards in the late 16th century. 19th-century alterations and 20th-century renovation and gable walls. Flint rubble ground floor and timber-framed first floor. Pantile roof. Two storeys, jettied at first floor."

Examined as part of the Norwich Survey.
Early 16th-century building with mid 16th- and 17th-century extensions.

1977.
During demolition of outbuilding at the rear of 80 St. George's Street, an early 17th century stair turret was revealed.
