Summary
In 1976 a pipe trench dug in Wensum Street cut through a number of layers of flint and mortar surfaces to a depth of around 1.5m, but no datable finds were noted.

Full Description
Outside Nos 11-24 Wensum Street, road works.
1976. Pipe trench cut through thick layers of flint and mortar surfaces (around 30cm).
Around 1.5m deep no sign of natural. No finds.
