Summary

In 1972 a sewer trench was cut in this area, but no archaeological features were observed and only one 18th century pottery vessel was recorded.

1972. Sewer trench at east end of Bull Close Road.
The site overlay the line of the outer edge of the city ditch, but the trench only cut through modern makeup (rubble and soil) for the street.
