Summary
Metal detecting in 1992 within Lion Wood recovered a Roman headstud brooch, dating to the 2nd century AD. It had enamelled decoration on the bow, and a solid cast loop on the head.

Roman headstud brooch, 2nd century AD. Enamelled decoration on bow. Solid cast loop on head.
