Summary
Between 1930 and 1935 an iron axehead was recovered almost 5m below the water level during repairs to the piers of Fyebridge. Two 17th century vessels were also dredged from near the bridge in 1930.

Iron axehead found 16ft (4.9m) below water level during repairs to piers. [1]
