Manor Farmhouse including attached wing to north, Mangate Street.
January 1951. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Farmhouse. Early 18th century with south block dating to around 1800 forming principal façade. Red brick, rendered and colourwashed; roof of pantiles and black-glazed pantiles. Exterior: two storeys and dormer attic. Three-window range. Corner pilasters...Timber doorcase with block entablatures and open pediment...Modillion eaves cornice. Gabled roof with three flat-topped dormers...Internal gable-end stacks east and west. Early 18th-century range to rear: two storeys, three-window range...Gabled roof with ridge stack north of centre. At junction of two blocks is an external stepped stack. Running north is a single-storey range of outbuildings: red brick, some flint and pantiled. Stick-baluster staircase with panelled square newel posts. Six-panelled doors to principal rooms of front block."
