Map

December 2006. Field visit, after the site was identified by Forestry Commission staff.
Located in Crescent Wood, close to junction of several forestry tracks. The mapped location is approximate as the handheld GPS unit used did not work under the forest canopy.
A possible bank with a distinct curve. The western face of the bank is prominent and is up to 1.5m high in places. The eastern face is up to 1m high, but is a lot less pronounced and is indisitnict in places.
The possible bank may once have joined NHER 49733 to the south, but any former link between them was removed during the creation of a forestry track. The curve of the bank at it southernmost point suggests that this was not the case; however it is possible that the southernmost part of the bank was created during the creation of the forestry track and is misleading.
D. Robertson (NLA), 15 January 2006.

March 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
This bank is now recorded alongside others recorded in the area from lidar imagery under NHER 61991.
