Map

December 2006. Field visit, after site was identified by Forestry Commission staff.
Located in Crescent Wood. The mapped location is approximate as the handheld GPS unit used did not work under the forest canopy. A linear bank, aligned roughly northnorthwest to southsoutheast, roughly parallel to a forestry track to the west. It is up to 15m wide and up to 1m high. The bank may once have joined with NHER 49732 to the north. However, any former link between them was removed during the creation of a forestry track.
D. Robertson (NLA), 14 January 2007.

March 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
This bank is now recorded alongside others recorded in the area from lidar imagery under NHER 61991.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 7th March 2018.
