Summary

A ring ditch, visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, almost certainly marks the site of a Bronze Age (or possibly late Neolithic) round barrow. Together with two further ring ditches, the site forms part of a linear barrow cemetery, NHER 52302.

The site described below was previously recorded as part of NHER 12776.
A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S4), centred at TG 2388 0583. It almost certainly represents a former Bronze Age (or possibly Late Neolithic) round barrow, and forms part of linear barrow cemetery NHER 52302. The ring ditch is defined by a substantial ditch and is roughly circular in plan but with an unusual protrusion on its north side. It measures up to 20m in diameter.
