Summary

These three stone arches dating from the 14th century are thought to have been moved to this location in the early 20th century from a medieval house on Tuesday Market Place (NHER 1161).

Listing Description excerpt:
"Line of three arches, removed [in] early 20th century from ruins of house to west of Tuesday Market Place. 14th century. Whole flints to north, brick and carstone to south, ashlar dressings. Hollow-chamfered arches with an outer wave moulding..."

A further pair of arches which were photographed in 1907 as part of the same structure on Ferry Lane (NHER 1161) are not listed, but stand a short distance to the west in Tower Gardens (NHER 64025).
