1988.
Two medieval sherds on site of redevelopment for houses.
Site now not going to be excavated by NAU due to problems over negotiations with engineer for developers.
Engineer would not cover cost of backfill and HBMC grant for excavation by NAU did not run to backfilling site with limestone chippings if required.
Natural was at 2.97m below ground surface.
