Full Description
Site of large country house probably of 18th century origin. The house may have been rebuilt or modified in the 19th century as (S1) in 1841 describes it as 'of recent date, and is a handsome structure, though too large perhaps for the surrounding landscape'.
The site of the house and park were developed from 1957 onwards. The approximate site of the house is now occupied by 76 and 78 Charles Close.
