Description
Full title: A Description of the towne of Hecham in the County of Norfolk conteyning the mannors of Hecham and Calys parcel of the possessions of Sr. Hamon le Strange Knight made in two several plots divided by the river. Whereof the manor of Calys was of the ancient possessions of the familie of Le Strange. The manor of Hecham was of the possessions of the famely of the Howards and was lately purchased by the said Hamon Le Strange of the right honerable Lord Thomas Earle of Arundle and Surrey A.D. 1609. The Plots of Hecham were made by William Hayward Gent, A.D. 1592 and exemplified A.D. 1623 by me Thomas Waterman: Clerk
